ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

GENERAL CRITERIA:           The Borough of Clementon desires to appoint an Economic Development Consultant who will assist the Borough in all facets of the economic development and redevelopment of various areas in the Borough.  Entities should demonstrate knowledge of municipal economic development, finance and financial practices with particular emphasis on the application of that knowledge and experience to redevelopment areas.  Any experience or knowledge of matters that directly affect the Redevelopment Areas of the Borough of Clementon should be addressed.

MANDATORY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

            1.         Must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience providing economic development services to local governments in New Jersey.

            2.         Must possess in depth experience in municipal bond and financial transactions.

            3.          Must maintain a bona fide office in the State of New Jersey.

            4.         Must list all past and present municipal clients.
